Welcome to the official website of the Rome Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Thank you for your support of our chapter. We hope you find our site helpful and informative.
We are proud of the legacy of service, not only of our National Organization, but also of our local chapter which serves Bartow, Chattooga, Floyd, Gordon, Polk and Whitfield counties of Northwest GA. The members of Rome Alumnae have been committed to Service, Scholarship, Sisterhood, and Social Action since our charter on January 15, 1966. As you learn of our rich history, you will find that we remain steadfast in our effort to give back to our communities, provide leadership, empower women, and promote scholarship in all areas.
Are you a Delta in need of a chapter home? We welcome you to come meet, fellowship and experience sisterhood amongst a tight knit group of women that believe in the power of sisterhood and share a deep love and commitment for our beloved Delta.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Since its founding more than 350,000 women have joined the organization. The organization is a
sisterhood of predominantly Black, college educated women.
The sorority currently has 1,000 collegiate and alumnae chapters located in the United States, Canada, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Jamaica, West Africa, Southern African, United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Korea.
